“The work of community, love, reconciliation, restoration is ours and ours alone. It’s not just prayers and well wishes, it’s showing up, standing up and rebuilding alongside those mourning. “

Described as among the deadliest attacks against the Jewish community in the United States, a man shouting anti-Semitic slurs opened fire inside a Pittsburgh synagogue during Saturday morning Shabbat Services, killing at least 11 congregants and wounding four police officers and two others,.

With the knowledge that the only way to face a crisis is together, Finally Home, JC@JC and religious leaders from across Jersey City. It’s a time when people turn to love, courage and kindness in times of crisis. But it’s also a pivotal time for us to find deeper meaning by standing up in solidarity. By reminding the world there is no space for hate in our City. Showing up for our community in the midst of challenging times can help us stay connected, and while we might not all understand what the other is going through, we can stand alongside them and support.

At Finally Home our mission is to be a company that drives engagement, building relationships and communities, and connecting people through the power of community. We pride ourselves on being a catalysts of a cultural movement towards social good by centering on the one thing we have in common; our city, our community, our home.

We Believe…

  • The way to change the world is through individual responsibility and taking local action in your community.

  • It’s our obligation as individuals to leave your community and your world a little bit better than how you found it. ⠀

  •  Every successful individual knows that his or her achievement depends on a community of people working together.
