Departed Soles Brewing Company opened its doors in the Powerhouse Arts District in Downtown Jersey City in 2015. It’s the first New Jersey Brewery offering Craft Beer with 100% Gluten Free ingredients that can compete on the palate with traditional ales!  Departed Soles began as the hair brain scheme of two best friends who shared a passion for craft beer and the service industry. Following the tragic death of one of the two friends, Departed Soles was launched as a way to honor their dreams and the life lost. 

“Born from the knowledge that beer is an integral part of American culture, whether it is your uncle drinking it at BBQs, beer pong in college, or tailgating before a game or concert. With the determination to make a great craft beer by all standards, not just a “beer” for the sake of being gluten free.”
